Could anyone give an ending better than this to their career....As the name Glen McGrath is spelled , batsmans do have an light dip in their confidence. As he bowls with line and length , even the bat makes an deflection away from the ball. One thing is sure when this lean fellow settles in , the batsman confidence melts as the way ice melts in the sun. This 37 year old pigeon has left us in ocean of worries with an stumbling performance in the dream-for-team tournament with cordon to its neck for taking 26 wickets in the biggest tournament of cricket. What else can the skipper expect from this pigeon. I wish pigeon lands here in India helping our bowlers how to fly the ball through the wickets.
I wondered why the sky of cricket was gloomy after the exit of host team West Indies from the world cup and then i figured out that it was due to this ever-great batsmen announcing his retirement from the International cricket. What a batsmen he was , his unbeaten 400 in the test cricket is still a dream for fellow batsman. He is the man who instills fear in the bowlers and thrashes the bowler's confidence as the goat is slaughtered. I used to rememer the days watching an lone batsman in the ground who makes the scoreboard tick for the team when the top order fails to perform. At last , He was made to see his own team thrown out of the tournament like picking the rotten tomatoes from the basket. But stars glitter even in dark. He will remembered forever for his ever-green knocks.
If BCCI have some part of their brain functioning, they can try to engage Brian Lara as Indian Team's batting coach and Glen Mcgrath as bowling coach. And for the people who do talk alwez.. oops... am i pointin gavaskar then i'm sorry.. they can resume talking as usual rather than trying to help indian team.

gimme a break.. twas an marvellous idea,but ppl in bcci will never do that. Lots of politics has been takin place inside bcci. we can insist in lots and lots of solutions for the development of cricket in India. But when things changes in bcci then only we can expect these things to happen.
Hope wat i commented must be the truth, mostly everybody is aware of it..
nice one to start with.. keep goin...
All's well that ends well! Things will change sooner! Continue this stuff
Kudos for opening your own blog bro! Now that you've praised the nuff already, say something about our home team too.. Dont be Mr.Aussie all the time.. :D
Happy blogging!
@ ac rajesh... dude, I aint Mr.Aussie..but aus is my second favo after india.. I'm happy that they have made it...only dissapointment was i was expecting Gilcrist to break anwar's 194 record .... it would have been fabulous had he made it..
@joseph,@ramya,@premsriram
thanks fellas
hi ram.. really good write up da.. the structure and the tone are excellent.. yeah lara is def one of the all time greats.. reg glenn mcgrath.. well .. he is a good bowler no doubt.. but i still have my doubts on him being a great one cos.. according to me ppl like kapil dev and a gentleman called courtney walsh occupy superior rankings in the great list bcos
a) they toiled hard manfully often without any support from the other end unlike the pigeon who had always good bowlers backin him up..
b) the most important thing.. "hurriyana hurricane" kapil and "smiling assasin" walsh always played the game in the right spirit and NEVER VERBALLY ABUSED THE BATSMEN..!!
@ac rajesh ,sanjeev
